WeCare Centers is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and relationship-driven Admissions, Business Development & Community Relations Liaison to support our Cedarhurst community.
This highly visible, external-facing position is responsible for developing referral relationships, strengthening WeCare’s presence throughout the community, supporting admissions and census growth, and building meaningful partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, businesses, and local and government officials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, social workers, physicians, healthcare organizations, and other referral sources.
Build external relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, businesses, chambers of commerce, senior organizations, and other community partners.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with local, county, state, and other government officials and their offices.
Represent WeCare Centers at community events, networking opportunities, senior expos, chamber events, healthcare meetings, and other external functions.
Identify opportunities for community partnerships, sponsorships, educational programs, outreach initiatives, and collaborative events.
Conduct regular visits to hospitals, healthcare organizations, community partners, and other potential referral sources.
Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to support admissions and census growth.
Serve as a primary point of contact for referral partners, prospective residents, and families.
Coordinate the referral-to-admission process, including required documentation, insurance information, approvals, and authorizations.
Collaborate with facility leadership to achieve short- and long-term census and business development goals.
Promote facility services, programs, capabilities, success stories, and community involvement.
Assist with marketing materials, presentations, social media opportunities, and facility promotional initiatives.
Coordinate facility tours and community visits for referral partners, community leaders, and government representatives.
Maintain consistent follow-up with referral sources, community partners, and prospective admissions.
Track outreach activities, referrals, partnerships, and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, senior living, healthcare, community relations, or a related field preferred.
Previous admissions, business development, marketing, sales, community relations, or outreach experience preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Knowledge of the local healthcare and community landscape is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable meeting with healthcare executives, community leaders, business organizations, and government officials.
Ability to professionally represent WeCare Centers throughout the community.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple relationships, referrals, projects, and events.
Self-motivated, outgoing, creative, and results-oriented.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned market.

This individual will play an important role in strengthening WeCare’s presence in the community, creating new partnerships, generating referral opportunities, and supporting continued census growth.
